After having built the Location S Research Tower several years earlier and seeing the resulting impact on their research growth, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (CCHMC) embarked on a new challenge to build their first project using Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). As one of the first IPD projects in the region, Archiable Electric became one of the first local Electrical Contractors to be an IPD partner in the region. Along with the owner, construction manager, design team, and other key subcontractors (Mechanical, Plumbing, etc.), this project was an overwhelming success for all involved in the project. With multi-colored and color-changing lights, programmable lighting controls and various other “bells & whistles” this building is not only an exceptional research facility, but also a show-piece for the CCHMC Burnet Campus.
